Deleting Partnerships

1. Before the competition

Before the competition, you have more freedom to delete partnerships. There are two ways to do this.

1.1 Option 1: Using the membership registrations imports

WARNING: Do not import registrations during the competition!

If you're using membership registrations, importing registrations will automatically update the imported partnership information in administration.
This means you can remove the partnership in the registration, and import the registration.

1.2 Option 2: Manually deleting the partnerships in administration

WARNING: Do not delete partnerships during the competition! You should only do this before the competition.
In the future, Acro Companion will not allow the deletion of partnerships during competitions.

If the competition hasn't started yet, in the administration, select the partnership row you wish to delete.
Then, click on the "delete" button on the right side of the page.

Note: If you removed a partnership, the partnerships amount value on the "Levels" tab might not be correct.

Only for USA: If you removed a gymnast and you are using individual 'Blocks' routines, the gymnasts amount value on the "Levels" tab might not be correct. It can be updated in a similar way to the partnerships amount value.

2. During the competition

If the competition has already started, you are more limited in terms of what you can do to remove a partnership from the competition. But don't worry, there are some approaches you can take if a partnership is not performing.

2.1 Option 1: Marking the partnership as absent

First, go to the "Starting Order" tab.

Then, for each exercise of that partnership, hover over the exercise and click on "ABS".

With this approach, the time schedule will not be affected.

Only for USA: If you are using individual 'Blocks' routines, gymnasts can also be marked as absent.

2.2 Option 2: Removing the partnership's exercises

First, go the "Starting Order" tab.

Hovering over the partnerships folder button on the bottom-left corner of the screen will display a dropzone.

Remove the partnership from the respective exercises by dragging those exercises to the dropzone.

Note: The partnerships amount value on the "Levels" tab might not be correct.

Once the partnerships amount value is corrected, the empty exercises will be removed from the starting order.
With this approach, the time schedule will be affected, so make sure to check that everything is ok before saving.
Once everything has been checked, don't forget to save your changes by clicking the "Save" button on the right.

Only for USA: If you are using individual 'Blocks' routines, gymnasts' exercises can also be removed.

2.3 Option 3: Marking the partnership's exercises as DNS

When judging the exercises, once the CJP gets to the partnership's exercise, the CJP can simply set the exercise as "DNS" and proceed to the next exercise.
To set the exercise as "DNS", click the "DNS" button on the bottom-left of the screen.

With this approach, the time schedule will not be affected.

Only for USA: If you are using individual 'Blocks' routines, gymnasts' exercises can also be set as "DNS".
