Livestream Setup

Before setting up the livestream, make sure that you have read and met all the requirements presented in the "Introduction" chapter, especially in the "Administration Information and Requirements" subchapter.

1. Where to start

In the sidebar, with your competition selected, click "Administration".

If you don't see this in the sidebar, it might be because you're not a manager for this competition.
Learn here how to become a manager of an organization.

Check that you are in the "Livestream" tab at the top of the page.

If you don't see this tab, it might be because the livestream has not been enabled for your competition.

2. Setting up the Livestream

In this tab, you'll configure the Livestream for the online public.
Learn here where to find the public information.

2.1 Livestream ID

The Livestream ID format is different depending on whether you're using YouTube or Dacast cloud services.
If you're using Dacast, please ask the Acro Companion tech team to make sure that the service is enabled.
The Dacast Livestream ID will look like something like this "7ae2f8a7ae56463a193caae1e5df98d1-live-325ab9db-8d92-dd07-d74c-0e7acd4ea3c6".

If you're using YouTube, your Livestream ID will look like this "ELQ36Y3NmXE," and you can find it at the end of your YouTube video URL.

After adding all the information on this tab, click on the "save" button on the right side of the page.
