Record the competition (the camera)
This is required for all video features that use AC Mobile device integration. Set up one Android device for each competition zone.
Install the Acro Companion app from the Play Store and sign in.
Open your competition and tap Recording in the menu.
Select the Zone to record and tap Start Recording.
You can also select a score screen overlay to be shown when you are recording, but it is not required. To know more about them check out Screens. When choosing the screen, it is best to pick one that doesn't have a background, so it doesn't block what you are recording.
Place the phone in landscape orientation and let it record for the entire competition.
✅ Tip: place the device on a stable stand, have it fully charged and connect it to power if you need to. Also ensure it remains connected to the venue Wi-Fi (if the Local Server option is enabled). Do not interrupt the connection during the competition.
