Record the competition (the camera)

This is required for all video features that do not use IRCOS. Set up one Android device for each competition zone.

1. Install the Acro Companion app from the Play Store and sign in.

2. Open your competition and tap Recording in the menu.

   

3. Select the Zone to record and tap Start Recording.

4. Place the phone in landscape orientation and let it record for the entire competition.

✅ Tip: place the device on a stable stand, have it fully charged and connect it to power if you need to. Also ensure it remains connected to the venue Wi-Fi (if the Local Server option is enabled). Do not interrupt the connection during the competition.

Once the camera is running, enable any audience features you want: Judges Rewatch · Public Rewatch · YouTube Livestream
