Competition Video: Recording, Rewatch & Streaming using AC mobile app

1. Introduction

This guide explains how to record, replay, and livestream videos during a competition.

Acro Companion links each recorded exercise to the correct exercise, allowing judges and the public to replay videos after an exercise has finished.

There are multiple options to record the exercises:

  • Mobile device recording
  • Camera setup with OBS Studio integration (Not available yet)

Videos can be made available through:

  • YouTube livestream linked to exercises
  • Acro Companion cloud server
  • Local server in the competition hall

* You need an Android phone or tablet to record with a mobile device.

Important: the video features are independent. Enable only the features you need. They do not depend on each other.

2. The Three Independent Features

Each feature below is enabled separately in Administration → Scoring & Ranking Config → Video Integration → Competition uses AC Mobile device integration . If AC Mobile device integration is enabled, you need to choose at least one of the options.
