Acro Competitions

In some cases, you may need to create a competition with specific configurations to test particular modules. Instead of creating a competition from scratch, you can copy the administration settings from an existing competition.

In Acro competitions, copying is only possible into an empty, non-configured competition.

To copy the administration settings, go to Administration, select General, and click the "Copy competition administration from another competition" button.

A dialog will open displaying all competitions from the same discipline and country for which you are a manager.

After selecting a competition, you can choose which administration settings to copy from a list of available options.

After selecting a competition, a list of available copy options will be displayed, allowing you to choose which settings and data to copy.

If the target competition already contains configuration or data, the copy button is disabled. It is also disabled when the competition is read-only.

To enable copying, open the Backups tab and delete the existing competition configuration and data, as explained in Manage your Competition.

Copy Options and Dependencies

Some copy options depend on other settings. Make sure the required settings already exist in the target competition or select them for copying as well.

If required options are missing, the platform blocks the copy and displays a message explaining which options must also be selected.

For example, copying Partnerships requires both Levels and Gymnasts.

Select the required options and try again.

Some options, such as Calendar and Starting Order, do not need to be copied when copying Acro competition administration.
