Generic Competitions
In some cases, you may need to create a competition with specific configurations to test particular modules. Instead of creating a competition from scratch, you can copy the administration settings from an existing competition.
To copy the administration settings, go to Administration, select General, and click the "Copy competition administration from another competition" 
button.
A dialog will open, allowing you to select a source competition and choose which settings to copy.
The Remove existing data toggle determines how existing data in the target competition is handled:
Enabled: Existing data corresponding to the selected options is removed before the data is copied.
Disabled: Existing data is kept while the selected data is copied from the source competition.
1. Copy Options and Dependencies
Some copy options depend on other settings. Make sure the required settings already exist in the target competition or select them for copying as well.

| Specification Combinations | Required Levels and Competition Phases must exist in the target competition or be selected for copying. Related Ranking Configs / Combined Rankings may also need to be selected when existing configurations depend on them. |
| Sub-levels | Levels and Specification Combinations must exist in the target competition or be selected for copying. |
| Ranking Configs / Combined Rankings | Competition Phases and Specification Combinations must exist in the target competition or be selected for copying. |
| Panel Compositions | Competition Zones and Sessions must exist in the target competition or be selected for copying. |
| Gymnasts | Valid Levels and Sub-levels must exist in the target competition or be selected for copying. |
If required settings are missing, the platform blocks the copy and displays a message explaining which options must also be selected.
When Remove existing data is disabled, some items may be skipped instead of copied. For example, Sub-levels that already exist in the target competition are skipped. Gymnasts without valid Levels or Sub-levels may also be skipped, while valid Gymnasts are copied.
Review any information messages or warnings displayed after copying to check whether all the intended items were copied successfully.
If the source and target competitions use incompatible Starting Order types, copying cannot proceed.
