Creating a Registration

Before creating a registration, make sure that you meet all the requirements presented in the introduction chapter.

1. Where to start

In the sidebar, with your club selected, click "Members".

Click on the "Registrations" tab at the top of the page.
If your club already has registrations, this is where they will be displayed.

2. Registering to a Competition

On the right side of the page, click on the "register to a competition" button.

A dialog will pop up.

2.1 Selecting the competition

Select the discipline of the competition you wish to register to.
National, international and official competitions of that discipline will be displayed.

Click on the competition you wish to create the registration for, and click "Next".
A draft of the registration will be saved for the selected competition.

2.2 Selecting the participating gymnasts

The gymnasts you see here are only the gymnasts who were added to your club and match the discipline of the selected competition.
You can see how to add gymnasts to your club here.

Click on the gymnasts you wish to add to the registration, in order to select them.
Once you have selected all the gymnasts to register, click "Next".

The previously selected gymnasts are displayed.
If you are registering for an Official competition, adding the FIG Id number is required.
If you are registering for a National or International competition, adding the Federation Id number is optional.

It might happen that a gymnast's level doesn't exist in the competition you are trying to register the gymnast.
Or it might happen, for some disciplines, that a gymnast's apparatuses/exercises need to be defined.
When some information is wrong or missing, the gymnast's information will be displayed in red.

If you have a gymnast with an invalid information, click on that gymnast.

In the level dropdown, choose the level the gymnast will be competing in (this new level will only be used for this competition, it won't overwrite the level of the gymnast in the "Members" tab).
Notice that the grayed out levels are not valid for the selected competition.

You can also change the email of the coach that will be responsible for a gymnast in the competition.

For Trampoline, Artistic, and Rhythmic competitions, you must assign to each gymnast the exercises/apparatuses they will perform in the competition.

Once all invalid levels have been changed to valid ones, and the exercises/apparatuses assigned (if applicable to the competition), you will see that no further customization is required.

Click "Next".

2.3 Selecting the participating partnerships

For some disciplines, it doesn't make sense to register partnerships (e.g. Artistics).
Therefore, this section won't be available as an option.

The partnerships you see here are the partnerships that were added to your club and match the discipline of the selected competition.
You can see how to add partnerships to your club here.

Click on the partnerships you wish to add to the registration, in order to select them.
Once you have selected all the partnerships to register, click "Next".

It might happen that a partnership's level and exercises/apparatuses doesn't exist in the competition you are trying to register it.
When that's the case, a "customization required" text will be displayed in red.

You can change the partnership's level, exercises/apparatuses, and coach email by clicking on the respective field.

Once all invalid levels have been changed to valid ones, and the exercises/apparatuses assigned (if applicable to the competition), you will see that no further customization is required.

Click "Next".

2.4 Selecting the participating judges

Click on the judges you wish to add to the registration, in order to select them.
Once you have selected all the judges to register, click "Next".

2.5 Other Members

Besides gymnasts and judges, it's also possible to add other members to the registration (e.g. Coaches).
Click on the members you wish to add to the registration, in order to select them.
Once you have selected all the members to register, click "Next".

You are required to assign a role for each new member that is added.
Once a role has been assigned to each member, you will find that no further customization is required.

Click "Next".

2.6 Adding Comments to the Registration

Here you can add comments to the registration.
Those comments can be seen and answered by the competition manager when reviewing your registration.

To add a comment simply click on the input field with the text "Type a message".
Once you have written the message click on the "Send" button.

Your message is going to appear in the right side in blue.
Competition manager messages are going to appear in the left side in white.
System messages such as, "Changes Requested", will appear in the center of the discussion dialog.

2.7 Checking registration's details and creating it

This is the final step of creating a registration.
Here you can review all the information you added and ensure that everything is correct.

Once that's done, you can either save the registration as a draft, by clicking "Save as draft" or immediately send it in for approval, by clicking "Send in registration".

Since a draft was created when you selected the competition, clicking "Save as a draft" will save all the changes made to the registration.
The registration will be displayed in the "Registrations" tab with the status 'draft'.

If you send it in for approval by clicking "Send in registration," the registration will be displayed in the "Registrations" tab with the status 'applying'.
An in-application notification and email will be sent to inform the competition managers that the registration has been submitted.

Hopefully it will soon be approved!
Keep an eye on your registration's status.
