One of the ideas by which we started Acro Companion was to make sure that the rules of Acrobatic Gymnastics such as the Technical Committee (TC) of the FIG has envisioned them would be easier to understand for all practitioners of Acrobatic Gymnastics.
Another opportunity we saw was to finally be able to give everybody one "truth". What happens now is that a team sometimes is given a different difficulty value and/or penalties in one competition than in another competition because of a different interpretation of the rules. We wanted to help to stop this.
To be able to do this, Acro Companion is working together closely with the FIG Technical Committee to be sure that the original vision of the TC is correctly translated into code in our application.
One of the consequences is that Acro Companion will only give you the correct interpretation of the rules. Which can sometimes be different than how some countries have interpreted them until now.
In Pre-Youth you will have different boxes where the "OR" is used.
It is NOT needed to define the shape of the element that has to be performed, only the image of the WAGC + coordinate of the box and row with the correct value.
So the full image:

The coordinates of the twist tables do not need to be mentioned.
The coordinate should only exists of:
When you are performing a twist, this needs to be defined by the amount of twist (in the title bar or
in the container) and the values should be added at the salto value.
Definition: The shoulders should be hyper-extended and the head needs to be pushed forward, the legs should be horizontal and piked at the hips.
Technical deductions will be taken if this shape is not achieved and if necessary, the difficulty judge will take away the difficulty.

The following base position can be performed with straight legs (stylistic variation) but the value is
taken as a 'table' position and NOT a bridge position.

The following are considered as stylistic variations:

P74 start position 04 OR P75 start position 16

P65 - 12
The following position (in the picture below) is only considered as a variation of the ring as the top leg is bent, therefor it only receives a +1v (see general rules)

Startposition MG 8/WG 7
The following startpositions are considered variants (see newsletter 3 - 2022)

P65 - D6
Trio base positions P65-D6, category 1, can also be performed standing side by side and is considered as a variant with the same coordinates. (see newsletter 3 - 2022)

Mount 29 D
The startposition on the knees of the base can be considered as a variant of the start position in backwards support on the base. (see newsletter 13 - 2020)

P68 - D 5
These elements are considered the same (see newsletter 2 - 2017)

P65 - C6
Following position is considered as a variation of a straight handstand. Therefor the base pyramid is considered a variant of 65 C6 (see newsletter 6 - 2023)

Chestplanche - elemenent 009
These chestplanches are considered a variant of element 009. (see newsletter 3 - 2017)
