Manage your Competition

1. Introduction

This chapter and the following ones explain the requirements and steps involved in managing a competition.
To be able to manage your competition you need to be a manager of your competition in the Acro Companion application.

1.1 Be a Manager of your Competition

2. Administration Information and Requirements

Most of the competition administration will take place in the "Administration" sidebar menu.

Below you'll find specific requirements and important considerations for this menu.

2.1 Be sure to be the owner of the competition administration lock

If you can't make changes to the information on the "Administration" menu it might be because you haven't locked the competition administration.
This lock prevents multiple people from making changes to the competition at the same time.

If you already own the lock, the icon of the "lock" button will look like this:

If you're not the owner of the lock, the icon of the "lock" button will look like this:

In this case, you should click on the button to lock the competition administration.
You will then be able to make changes to the information.

2.2 Don't forget to save your progress!

We recommend saving your progress frequently because the application doesn't do this automatically.
To save your progress click on the "save" button on the right side of the page.

2.3 Backups

To restore a saved version of your competition navigate to the "Backups" tab.

Here you'll find a list with all the competition administration saved versions.
We recommend to save your current version before restoring a previous one.
This will create a new restore point for the current competition administration version, giving you the option to revert to it later if needed.

To restore a saved version click on the row you want to restore.
Then, on the right side of the page click on the "restore" button.

A dialog will pop up.

Click on the "Yes" button to confirm.
Your competition administration will now show the information from the restored save.
