Acro Companion uses browser notifications to keep you informed about important updates.
To receive notifications, you must first enable notifications for your device. Once enabled, different Acro Companion features can send notifications depending on your subscriptions and permissions.
For example, browser notifications can be used to:
Prerequisite: You must be logged in to an Acro Companion account to enable notifications and manage notification subscriptions. If you do not have an account yet, see Registering as a User.
Notifications can be enabled from the Notifications section of your Account Settings.

button.The notification bell indicates whether your current device is authorised to receive notifications.

Grey Bell – This device is authorised and can receive notifications from Acro Companion.

Blue Bell – Notifications have not yet been enabled for this device.
When you click the blue bell, your browser will request permission to send notifications.
Select Allow when prompted.
Once permission has been granted, the bell will turn grey, and the current device/browser combination will be added to the list of authorised devices below the notification button.
If you use a different browser or device, you will need to enable notifications again for that combination.

If notifications have been blocked in your browser settings, clicking the notification bell will display the following popup:

If you previously selected Block when your browser requested notification permission, the browser may no longer show the permission popup.
To enable notifications again:
Some browsers or devices may not support browser notifications.
If notifications are not supported on your device, Acro Companion will display a message explaining that notifications cannot be enabled.
When viewing a competition Schedule, the notification bell indicates whether notifications are available for the current user and device.
The Schedule page is also where you can follow your favourite Gymnasts/Partnerships and Clubs. To learn more, see Follow Favourite Gymnasts & Clubs.
A Green Bell indicates that notifications are enabled for the current device.
Clicking the bell will display a confirmation message indicating that notifications are enabled and that updates can be received on this device.

An Orange Bell indicates that notifications are available but have not yet been enabled for this device. This may be because:
Clicking the bell will display a message explaining that notifications can be enabled for the current device.

A Red Bell indicates that notifications have been blocked by your browser.
Clicking the bell will display a message explaining why notifications cannot be enabled.
Possible reasons include:
