Creating Screens
Scoring screens are the displays you set up for in-venue scoreboards, broadcast overlays, and operator monitors during a competition. This page is your starting point, it explains where to find the screen tools and links to the detailed sub-pages.
1. Where to start
- In the sidebar, with your competition selected, click Displays under scoring.
- If you don't see this in the sidebar, it might be because you're not a manager for this competition.

Inside the Display Controller, you’ll find two tabs that work together:
- Display Setup — Create new screens and configure their options (name, zones, design, durations, etc.).
- Latest Scores Screens — Operate screens during a live competition: select one or multiple screens, push score overrides, monitor activity.
2. Creating a New Screen
- Navigate to the Display Setup tab.
- Click the Add a new screen
button.
- Enter a descriptive screen name in the Change Screen Name field.
Once the screen is created, open it in a browser tab on the target display device. The screen will automatically render whatever the Display Controller pushes to it.
3. Where to go next
This section is split into three reference pages:
- Create and Configure Screens — Reference for every option available when creating or editing a screen: basic configuration, durations, design templates, score display behavior, appearance, and the automatic display loop.
- Controlling Screens — How to operate screens during a live competition: selecting multiple screens, pushing overrides, and the intersection view.
- Troubleshooting — Diagnostic logging and how to report screen issues to the AC Team.
