Manage your managers
1. Become a Manager
When an organization is created in Acro Companion, one of its members is added as a manager.
This person is the owner of the email address that is provided to us.
They have complete access to organization management and can add new managers in the application.
If your club doesn't exist yet in Acro Companion, see here how to get it created
If you also need to be a manager of your organization you'll have to ask this person to add you as a manager.
They will require your email to complete this process.
After being added as a manager you'll need to sign up with this email in the Acro Companion application.
For additional information on how to sign up for Acro Companion please go to the "Registering" page.
If you're already a manager you can find information below on where and how to manage the managers of your organization.
2. Where to start
In the sidebar, with your organization selected, click "Managers".
Here, you can find all the managers of your organization.
3. Adding Managers
On the right side of the page, click the "+" button to add a new manager.
Fill in the details for the manager you want to add.
3.1 Functions
A manager can have 2 different types of functions:
🏁 LOC
(Local Organising Committee) A person who has full rights within a competition, covering registration and complete competition setup. LOC entries are not removed automatically by background jobs.
👤 Manager
A person assigned specific tasks within an organisation (for example: competition administrator or judge). Managers can perform only the tasks explicitly assigned to them. Managers added for a competition may be removed automatically after the competition finishes to comply with GDPR.
3.2 Roles
In addition to the function a manager can have multiple roles, below you'll find a list of different access levels that a manager can have.
⚠️ The option(s) you select will determine the information this manager can access.
Competitions
- Full access: Give the manager full access to the competition.
- Manage organisation: Manage the competition's organisation information — coordinates, contact details, etc.
- Manage managers: Manage the managers of the competition. Giving this right to a manager gives them the ability to create/edit/delete other managers.
- Manage coaches: Create coaches and assign tariff-sheet rights (relevant for Acrobatic gymnastics).
- Correct sheets:
- Gives the possibility to correct digital tariff sheets ONLY when DJs have access to tariff sheets (only in Acrobatic gymnastics)
- Gives the possibility to correct uploaded (pdf) tariff sheets and music files (Acrobatic gymnastics, Rhythmic gymnastics, WAG)
- Full access to correct sheets:
- Gives the possibility to correct digital tariff sheets even when DJs don't have access to tariff sheets (only in Acrobatic gymnastics)
- Gives the possibility to correct uploaded (pdf) tariff sheets and music files (Acrobatic gymnastics, Rhythmic gymnastics, WAG)
- Competition administrator: Manage competition administration (gymnasts, partnerships, exercises, starting order, sessions, judges, judge panels).
- Read-only competition administrator: View the competition administration in read-only mode.
- Judge statistics: View scoring statistics information and analyze scores.
- Scoring manager: Manage all aspects of scoring (includes the scoring roles below, Scoring judges, Scoring displays setup and control and Scoring displays viewing).
- Scoring judges: Use the account as a judge for scoring and real-time judging.
- Scoring displays setup and control: Create/edit/delete/view scoring screens for venue and livestream overlays.
- Scoring displays viewing: View scoring screens used in the venue and overlays.
- Interested in the results from scoring: This is a special role. When another manager prints a PDF from “Scoring” and then clicks “Mail PDF”, the generated file will be emailed to all managers or email addresses assigned to this role. The recipients don’t even need to have an account in Acro Companion to receive the email.
- Registrations: Manage registrations.
- Accreditations: Manage accreditations.
- Music:
- For competitions that use digital tariff sheets: download the music that has been sent in together with the tariff sheets.
- For competitions (pdf) tariff sheets: manage music files uploaded for exercises.
Once you have selected all the options, click on the "Create" button.
The new manager will need to register and log in to Acro Companion using that email address to be able to manage the organization.
If there is no user currently associated with the email address in the application, the manager's entry will be highlighted in red.
Once that email address is registered in the application, the line will change to white.
