Combined Rankings Examples

Below are some of the most common configurations of Parkour combined rankings. Always keep Exercise set to Rank by separate value, so Speed (lowest time) and Freestyle (highest score) are never ranked together:

1. Grouping split levels back together

For some competitions a single level (e.g. Senioren) is split into sublevels (Senioren A and Senioren B). At the award ceremony, organizers might want to announce a ranking for the entire level. To do this, create a combined ranking with:

  • Level: Rank specific values together, selecting all the sublevels (e.g. Senioren A and Senioren B), with a label such as "Senioren";
  • Category, Competition Phase and Exercise: Rank by separate value.

2. Fastest times and highest scores from all levels

Some competitions spotlight top performances across the entire event, regardless of level. To do this, create a combined ranking with:

  • Level: Rank all values together;
  • Category, Competition Phase and Exercise: Rank by separate value.

This creates one ranking per category, competition phase and exercise type: the fastest Speed times and the highest Freestyle scores across all levels.
