Managing Participant Lists

After completing the General Setup, and after adding all the participants in the Adding Gymnasts & Teams, you can now fine-tune the Participant List for your competition.

A participant list is created for each level, category, and possibly apparatus. It allows you to:

  • Change the order of participants (used later for the starting order);
  • Divide participants into smaller groups;
  • Configure which exercises each participant will perform;
  • Set which participants advance to the next competition phase.

1. Where to start

  1. In the sidebar, with your competition selected, click Administration.
  2. If you don’t see this option, you may not be a manager for this competition.

2. Participant Lists

  1. After opening the Participant Lists tab, you will see a selection box with all combinations of level, category, and (If applicable) apparatus.
  2. The list of participants for that combination will appear. You can now view and manage them.

2.1 Ordering Participants

  1. Participants can be reordered in the list by dragging and dropping.
  2. The order in this list will later be used as the basis for the starting order in the competition.
  1. You can also click the Randomize button on the sidebar to randomly sort the participant list.

2.2 Groups

While levels can already be split in the competition setup, you can also split a participant list into smaller groups.

Why groups are useful:

  • Participants can perform at different times instead of all in one block.
  • Rankings are still maintained within the same level and category.

Creating groups Manually

  1. Click the Edit Group button to open a dialog where you can add, delete, or rename groups.

Creating groups Automatically:

  1. Click the Generate Group button to open a dialog for automatic group calculation.
  2. In this dialog, you can generate groups using one of the following options:
  • By country;
  • By club;
  • By a specific number of participants per group.

2.3 Enabling and Disabling exercises

You can enable or disable exercises for each participant in the Exercises columns.

  • Disabled exercises are automatically removed from the blocks used in the Starting Order tab.
  • This allows you to control exactly which exercises each participant will perform.

2.4 Next Rounds Qualification

You can assign participants to the next competition phase or round directly from the Participant List.

  1. Any participant selected for the next phase is automatically added to the appropriate participant list.
  1. Opening the Finals list will then show the participants that were selected in the qualifications.
