Deleting Participants

1. Before the competition

Before the competition starts, you have full control to delete participants. There are two methods available:

1.1 Option 1: Using membership registrations imports

WARNING: Do not import registrations during the competition.

If you are using membership registrations, importing registrations will automatically update participant information in the administration panel.

  • This means you can remove the participant in the registration, and import the registration.
  • This can be done either by the applying club or by the manager of the competition.
    Learn how to import registrations.

1.2 Option 2: Deleting Participants Manually

WARNING: Do not delete participants during the competition. This should only be done before the competition starts.

IMPORTANT: When using membership registrations, manual deletion of participants is not recommended.
If you delete participants manually, you will not be able to import them again from registrations for that delegation.

In the future, Acro Companion will not allow the deletion of participants during competitions.

To delete a participant manually:

  1. Go to the Administration section
  2. Select the participant row you want to delete
  • Use the Gymnasts tab for individual participants
  • Use the Partnerships tab for pairs/groups
  1. Click the Delete button on the right side of the page

Note: If you removed a participant, the exercises amount value on the Levels tab might not be correct.

Learn how to update this amount value on the Levels section.

2. During the competition

Once the competition has started, your options for removing a participant are more limited. However, there are still some approaches you can take if a participant is not performing.

WARNING: A participant (gymnast or partnership) cannot be deleted once scores have been entered for them. Similarly, an exercise cannot be deleted once scores have been entered for it.

2.1 Option 1: Mark Participant as Absent (ABS)

  1. With your competition selected, click Administration;
  2. Go to the Starting Order tab;
  1. For each exercise of that participant, click on the exercise and click on ABS.

2.2 Option 2: Remove Participant’s Exercises

  1. With your competition selected, click Administration;
  2. Go to the Participant Lists tab;
  1. Use the dropdown to select the correct participant list;
  2. Find the participant;
  3. Uncheck all exercise checkboxes for that participant.
  4. Make sure to click the Save button to apply your changes.

This will remove their exercises from the starting order.

Note: The exercises amount value in the Levels tab may become incorrect after this change.

2.3 Option 3: Mark Exercises as DNS

During judging:

  1. When the participant’s exercise appears, the CJP can:
  2. Click the DNS button.
  1. Continue to the next exercise.
